Abstract
In this thesis it is intended to develop a proposal for the stimulation of attention as a psychological process in children with intellectual disabilities aged 4 to 6 in a specialized education center. For its elaboration it was based on a wide theoretical and methodological support to understand and structure an intervention proposal. On the one hand, it tries to achieve an appropriate characterization of care as a superior psychological process and to frame it in the field of intellectual disability, identifying its characteristics and the impact generated by their daily living. On the other hand, it shows a flexible methodological support that contributes to the research, and the adequacy of the case study and the incorporation of expert judgment for the validation of the proposed proposal. The results obtained in this research highlight the following considerations, attention represents one of the most vital functions for human beings, the development of attention in children with disabilities is necessary, since by developing this area you will allow them to generate independence and autonomy in addition to developing another psychological process. Finally, the application of the expert judgment technique for the validation of the proposal to be implemented allows an evaluation to be carried out that provides a recommendation to improve what is to be implemented.
