Abstract
This Curricular Integration Work focuses on Cognitive Development through Piaget's constructivist pedagogy in children from 3 to 4 years old. Its purpose is to contribute to cognitive development through a booklet of extra-teaching activities, called "My little genius"; same that are focused on the subareas of the cognitive area that are presented in the Battelle Development Inventory (Screening). It should be noted that in this paper several theoretical references are addressed, such as: Atencio et al. who talk about the constructivist paradigm related to Cognitive Development, Castilla who mentions the stages of cognitive development according to Piaget, Aguilar and Gutiérrez allude to cognitive stimulation related to Cognitive Development, among others. This research is elaborated based on the socio-critical paradigm, with the case study method, applied type, with a qualitative approach with quantitative data. In addition, techniques such as participant observation, psychometric technique and structured interview are applied, which have their instruments such as the question guide, field diary and the Battelle Development Inventory. By applying each of the mentioned instruments, relevant information will be obtained to build this research.
