Abstract
The present work was developed with the purpose of putting into practice with the students, theories and pedagogical strategies learned in the course for the qualification of the masters in the specialty of Geography History through a didactic unit with the theme The Industrial Revolution and the Industrialization in Ecuador, with the objective of knowing how the Industrial Revolution has influenced the development of capital and the social evolution of humanity, to understand why, as a boom in the technological development of humanity, there are still precarious living conditions in society. In the obtained results the students improved their level of cognitive apprehension demonstrating better capacities of answers and of investigative interest, participating spontaneity. In conclusion, adopting active practices in the classroom is not an option, but the main purpose of teaching professionalism that entails the meticulous planning of the content to be developed.
