Abstract
This work is born from the concerns that, throughout the course, have been hovering around the authors, the same ones that have been around the questions, How to be better teachers? How to change educational practice in the present century?, marked by access to information as a permanent mark that all human beings live, without knowing at times how to use it. Around these concerns, we decided to investigate how to achieve that a group of children with difficulties in writing can renew their condition, with the certainty that, if they develop their writing, they would improve their learning and would be in optimal conditions to face the future independently, for this reason, Lomas, Cervera and León have been taken as theoretical references, who contribute to our work with the foundation about the benefits of the plastic arts in writing. For this, we used origami as an instrument that, from a series of activities supported by drawing, painting and sculpture on paper, we were seeing in each session that they strengthened their fine psychomotor skills and, therefore, improved their writing. We were able to deliver children with better psychomotor skills to the teacher, which, according to her, were successful. There were nine weeks with sessions lasting between two and three sessions per week, which helped them to verify this progress. Our restless gaze to verify the changes allowed us to perceive through the qualitative approach and field work, chosen for this research, concluding that play, art and teacher support were the transcendent elements that allowed us to successfully complete this research.
