Abstract
Emotional management is crucial for the mental and emotional well-being of children, as it significantly impacts their quality of life. It enables children to face challenges, resolve conflicts, and make the right decisions, thus promoting a healthier and more harmonious environment. This research aims to propose a methodological guide for implementing the "calm corner" in children of Initial II, to enhance emotional management at the Early Education Center "Carlos Zambrano Orejuela. The study adopted a qualitative approach, employing instruments such as participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires, allowing for the collection of information on children's emotional management. The proposed methodological guide included twelve activities for emotional expression, recognition, and cognitive-emotional management. The results indicate that implementing the calm corner was effective, significantly contributing to learning and school coexistence. It is concluded that providing a methodological guide for applying the calm corner promotes constructive emotional management and develops healthy interpersonal relationships.
