Abstract
The present Curricular Integration Work called The development of fine motricity based on the Montessori method for children and girls of 4 years of the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit, arose on the basis of the difficulties observed in children of four years of sub-level 2 of Early Education of the Herlinda Toral educational unit, because they presented problems at the time of developing the different fine motor skills such as the use of digital pinzels and eye-manual coordination. The purpose of this work is to give solution to the problem found, with the general objective of designing a booklet with activities based on the Montessori method for the development of fine motricity in the field of body expression and motorcycle in children 4 years old. In this way, different theoretical references that provide information about the development of fine motricity in children were reviewed and supported by this research, the didactic strategies that have been employed in the different studies. In addition, the techniques and resources used for the development of fine motricity, and how the correct development of this is shown. In the theoretical foundations is argued about the dimensions of fine motricity. Therefore, the present research was developed using the socio-critical paradigm, with a case study and a qualitative approach. Information gathering techniques such as participant observation – observation guide, semi-structured interview – question guide and focus group – questions guide were applied. In addition, the design of the proposal is carried out: “My first movements”, structured with 10 didactic activities based on the Montessori method. For the piloting of this proposal was used 30% of the activities resulting in a favorable reception after the process of execution of activities, the teacher felt motivated to develop these activities within the classroom, because the children showed a lot of interest at the time of performing the skills that were used in piloting.
