Abstract
During pre-professional practices in virtual mode at the CEI “Luis Cordero”, located in Cuenca, it was evident that some boys and girls between 4 and 5 years of age from Initial Sublevel 2, presented little development of verbal language as they showed some difficulty by communicating and participating in the various activities developed by the teacher in virtual classes. It is for this reason that this Curricular Integration Work (ICT) aimed to intervene in the development of verbal language through a digital guide that involves didactic activities using digital resources. As theoretical foundations, the pedagogical contribution provided by Vigotsky on the sociocultural theory related to language will be assumed, as well as topics on pedagogical intervention, verbal language and the stages of acquisition, digital resources /tools, virtuality, role of the teacher, theory of connectivism and their respective pedagogy. This research had a socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, a type of observational study and as a methodology, action research. Furthermore, the information gathering techniques were participant observation and interview, each with its own instruments: field diaries, checklists, observation guides, and semi-structured interview guides. After the analysis of the information through matrices and triangulation, some aspects of the operation of the proposal were obtained as results, as well as: creative and innovative activities, greater autonomy on the part of infants and the need to apply it for a longer time. Upon completion of the investigation, it could be concluded that verbal language is essential for social relationships in such a way that it facilitates communication and the manifestation of thoughts, desires, etc. And, therefore, it is convenient to intervene from an early age with activities that promote infant learning, as has been carried out during this work, with the creation and use of digital resources.
