Abstract
The theme entitled “Stimulation of gross motor skills through a booklet of playful activities based on the types of theater with infants from 3 to 4 years old”, this research was born from the researchers' own interest; which was coupled to the Initial 2 sublevel, parallel 1B, of the “San Francisco de Peleusí de Azogues” Basic Education school. In the virtual modality, it was observed that the activities were focused on the infant sitting in front of a screen and doing a worksheet; preventing the strengthening of gross motor skills. Faced with this, the objective to stimulating gross motor skills through playful activities based on the three types of theater. In addition, the research was carried out by a mixed methodology, primarily qualitative and was oriented to the Action Research (IA) method, which through its phases allowed to plan, acting, observe and reflec; which are focused on meeting the objectives of the project. It has theoretical references, international, national and local background. The theory was supported by various authors, among the most relevant based on the categories and codes are: Cevallos, Femenia and Pacheco. In addition, a playful primer was built that was implemented in person in the educational context. On the other hand, the type of evaluation of the implementation process was used, resulting in the primer contributing to the stimulation of gross motor skills with body exercises. They even knew the three types of theater.. In conclusion, the use of the three types of theater were a support to diversify the activities and it was possible to contribute to the stimulation of the gross motor domains in a playful way.
