Abstract
The objective of this project is to implement and evaluate peer tutoring and work as tutoring strategies for the Academic Reinforcement Plan in the LOEI Regulations, in its article 208. These strategies are oriented to improve operational processes. Academic reinforcement, from an accompaniment, personalized attention and collaborative work. On the other hand, compliance with the standards contemplated in the Manual for the implementation and evaluation of educational quality standards (2017) is met. The methodology adopts the qualitative character, the attempt to know the depth of the problematic found, the application of several techniques, the participant observation, the documentary analysis, etc. The applied method is the action research, because, at the time of studying the educational reality, it is tried to transform it towards its transcendence. In addition, the technique for the analysis is the triangulation of data, the results of the improvement of the academic performance, the change of attitude in front of the reinforcement activities and the motivation for the academic improvement. The research work carried out is based on the results of the summative evaluation that presents a high percentage of students who need academic reinforcement. In addition, it is noted that there is a poor follow-up of legal representatives. Finally, the two strategies applied are effective for the development of skills, as well as personalized attention and skills development experiences in a group manner, from the opportunity to exchange experiences, to peer support.
