Abstract
The purpose of this research was to respond to a problem evidenced in the pre-professional practices carried out in the sixth "B" of EGB of the U.E. "República del Ecuador". A problem related to comprehensive development and the difficulties of students in reading and writing skills was identified; To contribute to this problem, the objective was to establish an AVA mediated by literacy, in which activities such as dialogic gatherings and interactive groups were proposed. Some theoretical references were Muñoz (2020), Pereira, Zaldúa and Guerrero (2019) who reveal the importance of an AVA in the comprehensive development of students, due to the flexibility, meaningful learning and interaction that it promotes between students, teachers and parents. The research maintained a qualitative approach, a socio-critical paradigm, with a descriptive type of study and as a research method, the case study; For this, the data collection instruments were field diaries, interviews and evaluations. After the implementation of the proposed activities, the adequate interaction between students-teachers, the assessment survey, the pre test and post test, there is evidence of a 30% advance in the correct answers, in the written section a decrease in faults is observed. of spelling and a significant improvement in the integral social and personal development of the students. The proposal made it possible to show that an AVA mediated by literacy reaches a large extent to strengthen the comprehensive development of students.
