Abstract
The work is based on the existing problem in Basic General Educaction in the country and fundamentally in the “Juan Bautista Vasquez” in terms of the development of inclusive practices by teachers. The objective of the research was aimed at developing a methodology aimed at the orientation of educational practices with children with intellectual disabilities, in the fifth year of Basic General Educaction of the “Juan Bautista Vasquez Unit”, to address diversity from an inclusive perspective. As part of the core of the methodolody, the author proposes inclusive methodological strategies that have been planned based on the individual and group needs that arise during the teaching-learning process, which will serve to provide answers to the problem under study. The methodology was validated through the Cortina and Trujillo (2009) Critical Opinion and Construction Workshops, where the recommendations given in each of the workshops developed for its improvement were considered, before its application in educational practice.
