Abstract
The following investigative work aims to design an educational advisory plan in training the educational leader in active methodologies in the teaching-learning processes, to guarantee significant learning in students in the Educational Unit "Turi", in which it was taken into account the problems observed in said institution. Teachers are unaware or do not apply active teaching learning strategies, which has produced low academic performance in students, little participation in classes with a traditional educational practice. The research question arises from this problem: How can the educational advisor guide the institutional leader to promote the use of active methodologiesin the teaching-learning processesfor meaningful learning in the “Turi” Educational Unit. The methodology applied in this work is qualitative research, using the case study method. The information gathering process was carried out through documentary revision, observation and the interview. From the data analysis carried out through the categorization and coding process, the most outstanding results were found that the educational leader does not develop a training process related to improving educational practice and therefore teachers use traditional methodologies. The conclusions reached by this research demonstrate the need to design a training plan for both teachers and the educational leader in active methodologies for learning. This way, the teacher will be provided with methodological alternatives that consider the different learning styles of the student and at the same time the student acquires a diversity of tools in the construction of his learning.
