Abstract
The objective of this Curricular Integration Work is to implement a didactic strategy mediated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that promote the development of reading comprehension in third-year students of parallel EGB "B" of the Francisco Educational Unit Febres Cordero in the 2020-2021 academic period. For this, a bibliographic review of current research was carried out for an approach to the state of the art and the theoretical reference was developed that shows the theoretical bases of the authors assumed for the development of this research. The methodology is inscribed from a socio-critical paradigm with a mixed approach and the design of Action Research (IA) was managed, which consists of the following phases: diagnosis, action plan, observation of the action and permanent reflection. For the collection and analysis of information, an observation guide, a student survey and an interview with the teacher were applied. Subsequently, the proposal presented on a “WixRed” web page was designed and applied, which focuses on the didactics of Teaching for Comprehension (EPC) and is supported by digital educational resources to enhance reading comprehension in third grade students. year of GBS. The proposal was validated through the judgment of expert experts in the subject of study and the relevance of the website "WixRed" was accredited with 5/5. Finally, it is recommended to implement the "WixRed" web page in educational practice to enhance the reading comprehension of third-year EGB students and consider possible modifications or adjustments that meet the educational needs of students according to their context.
