Abstract
This present research was born from the desire to reflect on the experiences lived with the teacher and the students of the sixth "A" parallel during the period of pre-professional practices. The objective of this project is to investigate the teacher training experiences of practitioners through a reading workshop in the subject of Language and Literature. For this, the narrative inquiry was used, which offers a path of knowledge to know what happens between the experience of the researcher, the teacher and his surroundings, in which it helps to create a link between the participants. Therefore, the researchers implemented a reading and creative writing workshop as a means to learn about the interests and needs of students and thus reflect on their educational practices. The reading workshop is based on Gianni Rodari's strategy entitled "Fables Salad". In this way, the practitioners make use of listening, observing, and conversation to get experiences which are reflected in six stories that are exposed in the work. These are the product of conversations with the children, the teacher, and the researchers' own experiences. When narrating the experience reports, some threads of meaning are found that lead the research topic. Finally, the conclusions were drawn from the reports of experience and based on other investigations. All this has allowed a transformation in the researchers and in their identity as a teacher, thus being able to understand the personal meaning of being an educator.
