Abstract
This research seeks to critically assess and contrast the use of new technologies and artistic expression in relation to one of the central activities in the child's innate development: exploration and experimentation. For the study, the concepts and categories of didactic strategies, exploration and experimentation were theoretically revised from a game approach as a playful activity, artistic expression and the atelier and finally the plastic expression and new technologies understood as a classroom resource for work from experimentation and exploration. Research methods were used such as: observation, analysis of documents and instruments such as the field journal, photographic record and the blog as a tool to record and organize the information. The observation in its modality of participant observation, during the process of preprofessional practices allowed to register information in the different instruments. A diagnosis of the development of the exploration and experimentation was applied, as well as the level of use of these resources in the CEI. The application of the techniques and their respective instruments allowed, in addition to the diagnosis, to reach the research problem: From an implementation of materials linked to new technologies and artistic expression, which of these resources generates a better learning based on the didactic strategy of exploration and experimentation, in the children of the CEI "Hernán Malo", from the parallel "A"?
