Abstract
Gender equity allows men and women to have access to the same opportunities, emphasizing their context and needs. Therefore, this project aims to promote gender equity in the fifth grade of EGB through the design and implementation of a CdA. The literature consulted, which helps to support this work, revolves around four categories related to gender equity and Learning Communities. For the methodological design, Action Research is used, accompanied by various techniques and instruments with a qualitative approach and a socio-critical paradigm, which were applied to learn about the perceptions of the students and the classroom teacher about the object of study. The proposal consists of a CdA based on the Tutored Library, AEE; for this purpose, a virtual library is designed in which stories and comics constructed by the students with the help of their families are placed, which in turn are socialized through various face-to-face activities, reading circles, online games, reading cards, crossword puzzles, word searches, recreations of their works and murals. The results found show the perception of students concerning gender, the role of the school in the construction of gender equity, the construction of gender roles and stereotypes in the school, and the CdA as a strategy to promote gender equity. Finally, with the application of this proposal, it is possible to promote gender equity in girls and boys since they are given a space to exercise their agency, that is, to criticize and give their opinion on topics of their interest.
