Abstract
This Curricular Integration Work (ICT) aims to strengthen the teaching-learning processes of literacy in the fifth grade of EGB within the area of Language and Literature. The main theoretical foundations are the teaching-learning process, language and literature didactics, and literacy as teaching, motivation and dedication. The research has a socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach, with which an action research method was used. Observation, interviews and documentary analysis were chosen as data collection techniques.Instruments such as: field diaries, interview script and observation guide were also used. An intervention proposal was made, which has the name: “Strengthening your reading and writing helps you discover a new world”, consisting of 4 activities focused on promoting reading comprehension, written expression and appreciation for reading. For the analysis of results, the descriptive method was carried out, of which the main results show a clear importance in adequately developing literacy in the students, and like them, by not having adapted or significant activities with respect to the lack of reading and writing, causes delays in learning in all educational areas. In conclusion, our research work focuses on the importance of the 3 main pillars in education, to develop the learning of literacy, which are: The participation of the family, the teacher and the student.
