Abstract
The main objective of the research is to propose a strategy for correcting disruptive behaviors in a 5-year-old child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the UNAE Basic Innovation School. To this end, the following problem is posed: How to correct disruptive behaviors in a 5-year-old child with ASD at the UNAE Basic Innovation School? The methodology used to achieve this objective is a case study with a qualitative approach and the interpretive hermeneutic paradigm.
Participant observation, interviews, the disruptive behavior inventory, and the valuative scale were used as techniques and data collection tools to characterize the current state of the child. Additionally, data triangulation and methodological triangulation were carried out to ensure the validity and reliability of the results.
The proposed strategy is based on the ABA method to correct disruptive behaviors in an ASD case. Implementation, evaluation, and proposal will be part of the scope of this work and its success will depend on the rigorous application of the methodology followed.
