Abstract
The project had the objective of developing meaningful learning by applying Cooperative Learning and PBL in ECA with the students of 1st year of high school of the private educational unit “San Luis Beltrán”, through the application of group projects related to various artistic branches, such as music, painting, performance and sculpture. For this, the qualitative exploratory descriptive and propositional approach was taken into account with a field research design; for the development of the research, the following were used: a) participant observation, b) semi-structured interviews, c) focus groups, d) field diaries, e) interview guide, f) diagnostic tests and photographic records. The population used for the proposal was 25 students from the first year of unified general high school with an average age of fifteen years. The results obtained were neutral, because, although data were obtained that show that Cooperative Learning and PBL allow meaningful learning and simultaneous teaching of various artistic languages, several setbacks that arose during the realization of the project, hindered the artistic projects of the students, causing a not entirely satisfactory final result. The conclusion reached is that PBL and cooperative learning allow an optimal teaching of different artistic languages, while providing meaningful learning to students, however, for it to be carried out in the best way, it will have to have the support of all the subjects that make up the educational institution.
