Abstract
The present TFM has the purpose of developing conceptual concepts, procedures and analysis through the design and implementation of a didactic sequence with the constructivist approach of the topic "Measures of Central Tendency" in order to promote meaningful and functional learning in students of the second year baccalaureate specialty Commerce and Administration of the Educational Unit Nicolás Infante Díaz. During the implementation difficulties were observed in relation to the previous knowledge and the methodology, reason for which adaptations were made to the methodologies and content with the aim of achieving the planned learning. The improvement proposal was made based on assessment of didactic levels considered among them the suitability; and as for the mathematical object are considered elements that constitute the systemic meaning of it, at the same time an analysis was made in face of the modern trends of the didactics of this science.
