Abstract
At present it´s important that education advances at the same pace as technology, especially in case of Physics, since an educational institution doesn´t always have a Physics laboratory. Therefore, it is important to be able to adapt and meet this need by relying on new technologies to combine theory with practice, and to make this subject more attractive to students through the use of multimedia educational activities, virtual simulators, videos, among others. This research includes the analysis of the use of virtual environments in the subject of Physics. The main objective is to propose a virtual environment for the teaching-learning process of Physics in the third year of Baccalaureate of the “Luis Cordero” Educational Unit. This project starts from the investigation of theoretical references where we reviewed research by several authors such as Campion (2021), Aguado, Martinez and Cañete (2015), Panaqué (2018), among others. A methodology with a mixed research approach was used, the research paradigm being educational is if a socio-critical type, also used two types of research which is descriptive and experimental, with research techniques that are the survey, structures interview and and classroom observation. The study showed that technological equipment and internet connection are required to use virtual tools, in addition, there is a predisposition of the actors in the educational process to learn to use virtual digital tools for teaching and learning Physics. Finally, the virtual strategy proposal was applied to achieve the objectives proposed in the research.
