Abstract
The research work starts from the problem evidenced in the area of Natural Sciences in the sixth year of EGB parallel "A" morning, derived from the observations made during the pre-professional practices, in which the teacher in front of the virtuality assumes a traditional methodology during the development of her classes, focusing on the use of resources, such as: textbook, slides, video presentation and verbal explanations. Based on this situation, the objective was declared as the elaboration of a virtual learning environment for the area of Natural Sciences, in the subject "Transformation of matter and energy" in the sixth parallel year "A" of EGB of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit, based on diverse digital resources that favor and dynamize the teaching-learning process in this area of knowledge. The research is developed from the theoretical foundations and state of the art that propitiated from the assumed categories of the object to present a proposal that contributes to the solution of the raised problems. The methodology used in the research was from a socio-critical paradigm, the methodology used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The study had the participation of 38 students and one teacher belonging to the aforementioned grade. Instruments such as the teacher interview and field diaries were used for data collection. As a contribution, a virtual learning environment is elaborated, with components that favor its concretion in the classes for the development of the contents of matter and energy, which favors the students' learning from the current modality and the pedagogical approach assumed by the current school curriculum. The feasibility of the product was evaluated, through the criteria of specialists, who allowed, from their contributions, to improve it.
