Abstract
This research addresses a current problem, which has been exacerbated as a result of the Covid-19, referred to the difficulties that are evident in the development of experimentation in the teaching and learning of Natural Sciences from the virtual modality in the Luis Beltrán Educational Unit of the city of Cuenca. This result was identified from instruments applied to students and teachers of the institution, which contributed to delimit the strengths and weaknesses on the subject, showing that traditional methodologies are used that do not take advantage of the benefits offered by TIC. The research was developed from a socio-critical paradigm, which, from participant observation, allowed to enter the object of study during the 2018-2019, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 cycles, to identify, interpret and gradually implement the didactic criteria and corroborate them as part of the contributions of this research, from the results that were being achieved. As a consequence, didactic guidelines are proposed for the development of experimentation in the teaching and learning of Natural Sciences from the virtual modality in the 9th year of the Luis Beltrán Educational Unit, derived from background and theoretical references that favored an approach to the definition of the category under study. In addition, examples of how to proceed in its implementation are included. The research provides theoretical and methodological elements for school and family contexts, thus favoring the active role of the family and its participation in the students' learning.
