Abstract
The present investigation was carried out in the seventh year of Basic General Education of the Republic of Ecuador Educational Unit located in the city of Cuenca; During the pre-professional practices, it was observed that the management and incorporation of technology in the teaching-learning processes of Language and Literature could be improved in the virtual modality. With the purpose of finding a solution to the problem seen, a didactic guide for teachers was made through the application of the ASSURE model, as well as the incorporation of various digital educational resources in the three moments of a class for the teaching-learning process and the development of essential skills in the area of Language and Literature. The research took a socio-critical paradigm, the method used was participatory action research and the mixed approach, since data was collected from participant observation, surveys, pre and post tests, an interview and a focus group; same that were applied to the professional tutor and the students. After the application of the proposal and the data analysis, the results show that the application of digital educational resources through a base model such as ASSURE has a positive influence on the teaching-learning of Language and Literature, since it was evidenced greater motivation, attention and participation on the part of the students, which was reflected in their grades for the tasks, and also helped the teacher to learn about a new interactive strategy for the integration of technology in her daily planning.
