Abstract

The Final Master's Project (FMP) is the implementation of the methods, techniques, evaluations that we have learned along the time while the Master's degree was being prepared. The theme of the FMP is the Emergence of Modernity, a fourth unit subject of the second year of high school, whose topic was selected because it is a general culture subject in which the origins and respect towards human rights can be highlighted, as well as the awareness of democracy with the formation of the powers of the state. The students were the main protagonists since they were the ones who elaborated their own learning; through investigations, exhibitions, dramatizations, trials, which allowed them to know and value the historical facts that laid the foundation of today's society. Knowing about the great characters of the history, makes the students to admire them, criticize and consider a purpose in their lives. This also allowed the students to increase their qualitative scores and to improve their behavior becoming more respectful and tolerant.
