Abstract
The present curricular integration research aims to propose a didactic guide for experimentation in the teaching-learning process of the thematic block living beings and the environment, in the eighth grade students of EGB, parallel A and B of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. Well, in the problem, the lack of content mastery was evidenced, specifically in the skills with performance criteria in the aforementioned thematic block. The methodology implemented is the use of the laboratory for the development of experimental activities. This work belongs to a type of quasi-experimental research with a mixed approach, that is, a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a population of 70 students of EGB parallel A and B, we also have a Natural Sciences teacher. For data collection, the participant observation method was used. On the other hand, instruments such as: interview, survey, pre test and post test were used, which contributed to the diagnosis and evaluation of the problem. In relation to the results, the need to implement a didactic guide for experimentation is identified, which will help to solve the difficulties in the development of skills with performance criteria of the indicated thematic block. The design of the didactic guide for experimentation was developed by several sections: the first corresponded to the design of the guide, the second focused on planning, followed by implementation and finally the evaluation of the results with a comparative analysis of the methods., techniques and instruments used. Accordingly, it was concluded that the didactic guide for experimentation represents support and reinforcement in the teaching-learning process of the students, truly favoring the progress of skills with performance criteria established for the thematic unit studied.
