Abstract
It is recognized nationally and internationally, that the subject of mathematics generates resistance in students, the development of the teaching-learning process is affected by not using appropriate methodologies and strategies or by the lack of knowledge of teachers, facts that lead to school failure.
This research work seeks, through a methodological workshop based on the use of taptana, to develop mathematical logical reasoning in fourth grade students of the Unidad Educativa del Milenio Intercultural Bilingüe Chibuleo.
The development of this methodological strategy will have a qualitative approach, in this sense we used observation cards, diagnostic tests, final tests, tests and more in order to ensure that students actively participate in the teaching-learning process.
The results of this research work were evidenced in the school performance of the students, who were used to working with books and notebooks, and from the use of methodological strategies they became more participative when working with concrete materials as observed in the pre-professional practices, it was evidenced that the methodological and didactic strategies influence the motivation and curiosity of the students during their learning process.
