Abstract
Education should be considered a weapon to combat all kinds of conflicts that plague a society. That is why this work addresses fundamental issues such as motivation for learning in different educational environments, focusing its interest in young people and adults with unfinished schooling of the Ecuador Amazonian Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the canton of El Pangui. This research seeks above all to direct the teachers of the intensive high school programs in order to encourage educational motivation and thus lower the dropout rate. This research favored the identification of fundamental premises that promoted the motivation for learning of young people and adults with incomplete schooling in the Ecuadorian Amazon Fiscomisional School in the canton of El Pangui, belonging to the province of Zamora Chinchipe through the reconstruction of significant practices. In this sense, the importance of directing education for the formation of people who develop their critical thinking in contrast to traditional education or also known as banking is emphasized, highlighting the fundamental premises that promoted the motivation for learning of young people and adults with unfinished schooling in the Ecuadorian Amazon Fiscomisional school in the canton of El Pangui, belonging to the province of Zamora Chinchipe. The methodology of reconstruction of significant practices was assumed based on a reconstruction of significant practices, in which interviews played a fundamental role. The interpretation of results favored the identification of premises that promote motivation for learning among young people and adults who have not completed their studies, based on the fundamental categories identified.
