Abstract
The present work of curricular integration, entitled “Art Therapy for the Emotional Development of First Grade B Infants in the Luis Cordero Educational Unit”, has as its main objective to propose a system of activities based on art therapy that promotes the emotional development of infants during the teaching-learning process. This project focuses on the integration of artistic practices to promote the emotional development of children. The theoretical references used include Goleman (2006), the General Basic Preparatory Education Curriculum (2019) and Arrabal (2018), among others, that support the art-therapy approach for the development of emotional. The paradigm adopted is the interpretive one, since it allows for an in-depth understanding of the reality studied, exploring phenomena in an open and emergent manner. The qualitative approach facilitates the capture of the richness and complexity of the social reality of the infants who are part of the study. The research design is a case study, a method that examines contemporary phenomena in their real contexts It is concluded that the proposed system of activities will facilitate the obtaining of the same, looking for the teacher to implement them in future planning, thus promoting the emotional development of infants through art therapy.
