Abstract
The present work of curricular integration, entitled Strengthening self-esteem through gamification activities in infants from 4 to 5 years of age at CEI Maria Montessori. The research starts with an introduction, knowing the importance of self-esteem in early childhood and the reason why the topic of study was chosen. The general objective is to propose gamification activities in the field of identity and autonomy that contribute to the strengthening of self-esteem in infants from 4 to 5 years of age in the "E" parallel II of the CEI María Montessori (Azogues, Cañar, Ecuador). The methodological framework is based on the interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative approach, through a case study, with the application of phases for the design. Likewise, research techniques were used for data collection: semi-structured interview, participant observation and instruments such as: observation guide, interview guide and field diaries. As a result, it was obtained that the children recognized their personal value in difficult situations, improving their self-esteem through social relations. In conclusion, gamification activities called "Getting to know me" were presented, focusing on the area of identity and autonomy and Milicic's dimensions.
