Abstract
The present end-of-master project is a compilation of the activities carried out with the students of the third year of the baccalaureate of the Technical Education Unit "Mitad del Mundo", which includes the implementation of a didactic unit on the Archaeological Sites of Ecuador placing special emphasis on those who are closest to our educational institution and within the province of Pichincha such as: the Pucará de Rumicucho, the Cerro Catequilla and the Cochasquí Archaeological Park sites that keep a rich history of the settled Quitu-Car culture in these places long before the Inca invasion and the Spanish conquest and that have awakened the interest to discover their mysteries, their cultural legacy and the form of social organization based on community and land tenure; From the information collected and the activities developed on the site together with the students we can make the contrast of this research with existing hypotheses about their way of life, the occupation of the geographical area and the monumental and millenary constructions made in form of pyramid terraces and lithic discs that are still in good condition despite the passage of time and are part of the cultural heritage.
