Abstract
This executive summary focuses on the implementation of GeoGebra as a tool for graphing linear functions with Basic General Education students. The main objective of this initiative is to improve the teaching-learning process of mathematics, specifically in Tenth Grade students of the "Consejo Provincial de Napo" Basic Education School. To achieve this objective, a quantitative methodology has been chosen, which involves the collection of data through surveys directed at teachers and parents. These surveys were designed to evaluate the impact of using GeoGebra on learning linear functions and to obtain valuable feedback from stakeholders in the educational process. As a result of this research, a guide to using the digital tool GeoGebra has been developed. This guide will serve as a critical resource for teachers, providing clear guidelines and guidelines on how to effectively integrate GeoGebra into their educational practices. Additionally, this proposal improves students' understanding and performance in relation to graphing linear functions. The implementation of GeoGebra as a teaching tool has proven to be an effective strategy for teaching linear functions. Teachers, in collaboration with parents, have noticed significant improvements in student learning. Feedback collected through surveys supports the effectiveness of this methodology, highlighting the usefulness of GeoGebra in visualizing and understanding mathematical concepts. For future research, it is suggested to conduct long-term monitoring of the application of GeoGebra in the teaching process. Other aspects of GeoGebra and its impact on mathematics education can also be explored. This research is a starting point for the continuous improvement of mathematics teaching in Basic General Education.
