Abstract
The purpose of the current work is determining the influence of attention disorders on school performance of children of the fifth year of basic education “B” of Escuela “Manuelita Sáenz”. The objective was also creating an exercises guide intended to improve attention in children of the above-referred class. As seen in results, at the completion of the training month to improve attention, children improved such a deficiency and the academic performance. I came to the conclusion that attention deficit did influenced on school performance of children; hence, it was clear that their cognitive level is okay, and that the true trouble is the lack of interest in parents regarding education of their children and several cases with poor effectiveness. It is recommended to institutionalize the current work in school, that every teachers improve attention capacity in their students and prevent troubles in the future, as a prevention measure of all disorders.
