Abstract
The present work gathers the priority learning objectives with cooperative strategies, since they provide a set of individual and group activities for the integration and social construction of knowledge. It is also an ideal resource for the educator in the classroom to daily formalize the basic contents for the education in the area of mathematics looking for alternative solutions, with an interdisciplinary approach mainly with the cooperative method that promotes the tasks of solving problems through the interaction of students in the teaching-learning process. To get to know in a fun way the topic about fractions is the main purpose of this work, beginning with the concept, representation, classification, fractions in quantities, with diverse operations, to learn to apply fractions in the daily life, wether it be to cut a piece of cake, to prepare a new recipe, making a good distribution in "equal" parts.
