Abstract
Language plays an important role in children's lives, since its good development allows them to communicate with the people around them. This project aims to contribute to the development of expressive language articulation through a workshop for infants in parallel 2A of CEI "Totoracocha" Cuenca-Ecuador. We started by systematizing the theoretical foundations of the study categories and analyzing the development of expressive language articulation in the infants of this parallel, we also designed, applied and evaluated the workshop for the development of expressive language articulation. Within the main theoretical references, different fundamental topics for the research were addressed, such as: importance of language, the development of articulation, expressive language, difficulties, and stimulation by didactic activities; citing the position of several authors such as: Campo, García, Zapata, Ministry of Education of Ecuador. We worked from a socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, a descriptive type of research and the Action Research method, using as data collection techniques: observation and interview; and as instruments the field diaries, observation and interview guides. The results obtained showed that the children required support in the execution of tongue, lip, mouth and blowing movements, which are worked on through a workshop that helps to develop these aspects. The workshop focused on buccofacial praxias contributed to the development of expressive language articulation, allowing the children to express themselves clearly and be understood by the people around them.
