Abstract
The general objective of the research was to propose a virtual guide of ludic-sensorial activities (blog) for the stimulation of reading initiation in Early Childhood Education sub-level 2 in Cuenca and Azogues, Ecuador, focused on the context and interest of children, aimed at parents and teachers. In response to the reality of the health emergency: Covid-19, which caused changes and required professionals, representatives and students to look for alternatives to facilitate virtual education. A virtual guide of ludic sensory activities was provided to support the motivation of students in reading habits, and thus obtain positive results in the short and long term. In conclusion, reading initiation is considered fundamental during the first years of life; however, it is not adequately stimulated at this stage. Therefore, the blog resulting from this project is an important contribution of the research that has propitiated educable aspects and repeatable actions that can be appropriated from the motivating educational space for reading initiation in children from 4 to 5 years of age.
