Abstract
The investigative work gives relevance to the stimulation of the development of psychomotor activities in Initial Education to promote an integral development in early childhood in infants. For this reason, the objective is to propose a didactic guide for the stimulation of psychomotor skills in infants aged 4 to 5 years through playful activities at the San Francisco de Peleusí School of Basic Education in Azogues. The theme arose from the problem detected in the pre-professional practices on the lack in the development of psychomotor skills and abilities such as knowledge of the parts of the body, the digital clamp, running, laterality, among others that correspond to sublevel 2 contained in the Initial Education curriculum (2014). It is based on theoretical bases structured in three sections: the stimulation of psychomotricity with its classification and its respective components; the skills that the initial education curriculum manifests and the development that infants must acquire and the didactic guide as a scientific result and in it immersed in the playful activities. The research also has the action research (IA) method that works on the socio-critical paradigm from a mixed approach, uses the applied type of study to obtain a greater scope, and also lays its foundations in action research with its four phases, also It has the techniques and instruments for collecting information. The results obtained from the evaluation of the implementation process in relation to the coherence criterion and its indicators of time, organization, sequence and training showed a significant contribution of most of the skills of the classification of psychomotricity, this was achieved through recreational activities of interest, participation and innovation.
