Abstract
The text argues the effect of current global conditions on our ways of thinking about our place in the world. The polarization of ideological positions, the rise of populisms, the growing tendency to positivism in the media image, social militarization, are some common problems of the scenario where we operate. Also added to the above are the control, supervision, and weakening of individual freedoms. Artistic pedagogy must be directed to a greater extent and towards sensitive knowledge, instead of weighing capitalizable results; to achieve this it must promote free will, empathy, and human commitment through work in, and from corporeality. This empowerment places art as an ecological possibility, by setting an ethic with respect to common consumption habits and social relations. The current malaise goes beyond the merely clinical and constitutes a turning point that will have to reorder our scientific horizon.
