Abstract
The present work entitled Land art for the development of artistic expression in children from 4 to 5 years of age at the "ABC" Initial Education Centre was aimed at developing the artistic expression of children, with the implementation of activities focused on the Land art technique. For the research was carried out a systematization of different theoretical references on artistic expression, which took into account authors such as Vigotsky, Piaget and Gardner. Similarly, the Land art and the materials of the natural environment that can be used to create artistic works at the Initial level, by the authors Alsina and Salgado (2018) were addressed. The study responds to a qualitative approach, under the socio-critical paradigm, with an action research design and applied and field type. At the same time, a table of categories and diagnostic subcategories was designed, in which techniques and tools for obtaining information such as the interview, observation, field diaries, the question script and the observation guide are proposed. The research revealed that the development of artistic expression in the children of Initial 2E was rarely applied, and the activities were not focused on enhancing creativity and imagination. For this reason, an educational intervention proposal was designed, which consisted of the preparation of a didactic guide with activities focused on the technique of the Land art, with the aim of improving communication, and to promote artistic expression in a free way and in turn they serve as a resource for teachers who want to work with nature materials. The result that was achieved with the educational intervention was favorable, because it was possible to meet all the parameters raised throughout the research as theoretical, methodological and organizational.
