Abstract
The research carried out consists of showing the benefits that a teacher achieves by having a pedagogical support plan, which is an opportunity to learn and improve their performance in the teaching-learning process, this support is given through classroom visits, workshops or circles study, all embodied in the plan, is not intended to be an instrument of persecution of the teacher. In the first instance, a review of the bibliographic sources that support the study was carried out, one of the main sources is that of the Ministry of Education of Ecuador entitled "The pedagogical accompaniment" issued by the educational advisory team in 2019, later the study is carried out of the institutional situation, for this a survey was carried out that had its piloting process and subsequent application of it, the survey was directed to the teachers of the Carmen Mora de Encalada High School, later the information obtained is analyzed and processed. In the field research, two striking situations were found: 1. Regarding methodological strategies, there is a lack of knowledge of these, especially the active ones, 2. In the evaluation, a lack of knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative assessment instrument was found. In order to remedy these situations, a pedagogical support plan based on these needs will be proposed.
