Abstract
The research is born from the interest of the researchers from their own experience in the Theater´s group of college. This is mobilized to offer a space in which the teacher and the student can get to know the world of theater. The objective of this narrative study is to investigate the value of theater from the educational experience in the teachings of Language and Literature and Mathematics. The text is the product of the narrative research method, that part of the concern of the researchers and the study of specialized literature. This aspire to understand the relationship between education and art. The research proposal "A crack in the wall" brings together the experiences found by the researchers within the practice. From talks, the stories defined in three phases are: the Before, defines a first approach to the teacher and students, prior to theater exercises. The During, addresses the theatrical exercises developed in the respective areas of study. The After, manifests the final conversations with the teacher and students based on the experience of the process. Through narrative inquiry are obtained the threads of meaning that constitute an interweaving of learning. That gives rise to the conclusions that build a synthesis of the final dialogue between specialized literature and the threads of meaning found in the educational experience. The study reflects the formative process of researchers as educators, their concerns, memories, mistakes and discoveries that could be thought during the research. This in conclusion modified the educational sense of the researchers. Accordingly, it is hoped that this study will provide the reader with a journey that makes you go through your own experiences to be able to reflect on the educational space and its new ways of existing in it.
