Abstract
The specific difficulties learning skills in Mathematics (DLSM) are remarkable barriers in school classrooms, as identified in the classroom of the sixth grade, parallel “C” of the “Unidad Educativa Zoila Aurora Palacios”, where the following research arises. This educational innovation project provides with clear answers to the questions relating DLSM and how to face it. That is to say, it provides the necessary didactic strategies to face DLSM in educational practices in the academic context studied. These can be adapted and used according to the necessities of other educational realities. To be able to decrease DLSM’s from students we present a system of innovative activities with actions and dynamics such as the learning based on problems and gamification. Also, this system looks at a constructivist paradigm of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky. The activities shown will be useful for the teachers and it will improve the learning skills in Mathematics. This fact was obtained from the research where there was an improvement of 30% higher than school performance based on initial results. The approach used for this research is mixed, being an organized and systematic process with and inductive method because it arises from the research in a specific group to create general criteria that can be useful for educational practices.
