Abstract

The present TFM developed in the subject of Mathematics, developed with the students of the Tenth Basic Year of the Educational Unit Windows, had like objective that they overcome the difficulties related to the problems of equations of first degree with an incognito, at the moment of expressing them of the language common to mathematical language and vice versa, one of the main findings in the development of this work was the poor reasoning ability at the time of raising the problems of equations of first degree; For this, an active methodology was used, through the resolution of everyday problems; which allowed the acquisition of skills to analyze, pose, solve, interpret and verify in order to issue conclusions with mathematical foundations in an easy and effective way; using manipulative and technological didactic materials. It is important to highlight that the cognitive, scientific and didactic contribution acquired in the Master enabled the implementation of strategies that favored meaningful learning
