Abstract
The research project was aimed at promoting autonomy in children of sublevel 1 due to the low participation in the field of verbal and non-verbal language manifestation, causing the involvement within the classroom dynamics to be limited. The present investigation is based on the general objective of proposing a booklet of didactic activities to promote autonomy in the field of verbal and non-verbal language manifestation from the game-work methodology in infants of sublevel 1 "A" in the CEI Tomás Sacoto, because the activities were based on the skills raised in the initial education curriculum. Theoretically, the project was supported by authors such as: Sánchez and Casal (2016), Lasso and Prado (2014) and Vásquez (2017) who speak of the importance of the development of autonomy in infants; Callando (2018) and Ledo (2019) reveal about the manifestation of verbal and non-verbal language in initial education and Silva (2018), Rojo (2018) and Eguizabal (2017) who address the game-work methodology. The methodology used in this research has a qualitative approach, under the socio-critical paradigm that arises from Action Research. The techniques used for data collection are: participant observation, Parent survey and teacher interview. The instruments: field diary, observation guide and interview guide. These techniques and instruments helped to diagnose that the children were very independent from their parents, they expected them to answer for them, for this reason, the proposal was to design a booklet of didactic activities to promote autonomy in the field of verbal and non-verbal language manifestation. Since in the application of the proposal it was evidenced that the children carried out the activities with less dependence on an adult.
