Abstract
The objective of this innovation project was to make visible other ways of knowing childhood from the experience of the Atelier implemented in the Initial Education Center "Hernán Malo" in the city of Cuenca, one of these ways of knowing childhood was living the Atelier as a learning experience in Initial Education from a childhood perspective, for which it was necessary to recognize the meaning and place that "experience" occupies, referring to this as practical and living action in the learning processes of children. . Starting from the Participatory Action Research, a participant observation was carried out together with the philosophy of Reggio Emilia. The Atelier was implemented where the documentation is the main information collection tool, which is then interpreted through the documented narrations which allow us to rethink about living, feel and register the process that opened a space to recognize childhood, foster relationships and interactions with children.
