Abstract
The family and the school are key agents in the learning of early education children, therefore, the support provided by representatives from home is essential for the comprehensive development of infants. Due to this, the purpose of this research is to propose a workshop system to encourage the participation of representatives of children aged 4 to 5 years from the initial sublevel 2 “B” in the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. The methodology was based on a case study, interpretative paradigm and qualitative approach. In turn, participant observation, focus group and interview techniques were used to collect the information, with two instruments; field diary and question guide. As a result of the analysis, based on the procedure that involves grounded theory, it was obtained that some of the representatives do not actively participate in the children's learning, due to different factors, such as lack of time, knowledge or work occupations. In conclusion, this study reflects the importance of people knowing the benefits that the constant participation of representatives generates in the child. Thus, helping to train people capable of contributing significant things to society.
