Abstract
The objective of this degree project is to analyze how digital books can contribute to the teaching-learning of chemistry for third-year E high school students at Luis Cordero school. Digital books as transformative pedagogy have the purpose of involving ICTs as teaching-learning tools in the subject of chemistry. The implementation of digital books is due to the shortcomings that have been diagnosed in the development of the research, as well as the factors that intervene directly and indirectly in the performance of the student body. This research is of a descriptive type through the case study, for which quantitative and qualitative information was collected, in two moments with the application of Pre-test and Post-test in the investigation. In order to know the results that are presented by the implementation of the proposal of digital books, and how these have contributed to education, the following results are obtained: the improvement of the academic performance of the students, more active classes and an improvement in the communication channels between the student and the teacher, which has contributed to obtain excellent results, in the learning of chemistry.
