Abstract
In the context of pre-professional practices, developed in the Unidad Educativa “Abelardo Tamariz Crespo” it was identified that no concrete and inclusive actions are established, which favor the learning teaching process (PEA) of reading throughout under-levels of Basic General Education (EGB). To this end, the objective was to propose a methodological guide that strengthens the systemic logic of the learning teaching process of reading in Basic General Education of that educational unit. Theoretically they were key references, among others: Cassany (1990), Solé (1992), Cruz (1998), Baca de Espíndola (2006), Montaño (2010) and Bruera (2017). From the methodological point of view it is part of the Sociocritical Paradigm, with a Qualitative - Quantitative Mixed Approach, with the anuence of methods of the theoretical and empirical level and the statisticians, which were complemented with the software for the analysis of the results. As a general result, it was obtained that in the institution there is a breakdown of the systemic logic of the PEA of reading along the sub-levels of GBS, which led to the proposal of a Methodological Guide that guides key actions from institutional management in favor of co-co thinking and teaching for the sake of perfecting reading teaching. The theoretical assessment of the proposed guide makes it possible to conclude that it represents a substantial contribution to rethinking the methodological management that is carried out of the PEA of reading, in the different years and sub-levels of the EGB
