Abstract
The universal design of learning is a tool that contributes a great help to the student in the analysis of texts because in its use we are forced to use technological tools and alternatives that will not only be used in favor of children with learning problems or with the so-called abilities special but also by students of the common universe that perhaps have not developed a taste for reading when considering it old-fashioned and boring. In the area of Language and Literature we can adapt them in function of which the so-called ICTs are used and with the help of audiovisual media we can advance in reading comprehension whose objective is to find the main ideas of the texts of study but above all to be able to interpret them giving their opinion from his point of view reaching a debate in defense of his ideas and in defense of reflections with which it is related. To help us with the application, the indigenous LEGENDS of Ecuador were used.
