Abstract
This research addresses the topic "Virtual Learning Environment, to promote interest in reading Initial Sub-level 2, Parallel B of CEI Luis Cordero Crespo" with the strengthening of skills in the area of understanding and expression of language. It was theoretically based on the authors Hoyos and Gallegos (2017), In the authors Ojeda and Rodríguez (2014) demonstrating the importance of reading in preschool; as well as other theoretical references that contribute to the promotion and teaching of reading in early childhood education. Also, Emilia Ferreiro was taken as a pedagogical reference, who proposes a constructivist and innovative methodology for preschool-age infants to start in the reading process and be in contact with interactive digital resources; As a curricular reference, the Methodological Guide for the Implementation of the Initial Education Curriculum (MinEduc, 2014) indicates that a minimum of 10 to 20 minutes a day should be dedicated to reading. The work was based on the socio-critical paradigm that arises from Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative approach, since it involves teachers, students, representatives and practitioners. Correspondingly, the techniques were applied: participant observation, interview and survey, with their respective instruments: eight field diaries, two observation guides, an interview guide and a questionnaire. Finally, it was obtained as a result that it is essential to implement a Virtual Learning Environment, enriched with tools and digital resources to encourage the habit of reading in children from 3 to 4 years of age, since it allows students to begin in the world of reading through the description of pictograms, memory training, capacity for abstraction of ideas and imagination, development of creativity, increased concentration and language acquisition.
